A6 Academy Staff

Craig Craig Greely Director Coach Craig combines a passion for coaching youth sports with knowledge gained from playing competitive ice hockey, baseball, basketball, soccer and football as a youth and young adult. Coach Craig's philosophy is "keep them moving and keep it fun". When practicing the fundamentals is fun students don't think of it as "practice". As a result they actually practice more often and more deeply. First and foremost our focus is on the individual student's personal character and self-confidence.

Craig grew up in Southern California and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from USC Film School. He studied writing, acting, theatre and film making. Craig met Suzanne while working for NBC studios in Burbank. (He still considers that better than meeting Pat Sajak or even Johnny Carson)! Craig went on to work in film production for Warner Bros. prior to earning his law degree from The John Marshall School of Law in Chicago. After performing and sitting on the board of directors for a Los Angeles-area theatre group, Craig saw the need for a youth/family theatre company in the South Bay. The Greelys are longtime Hermosa Beach residents and they received an overwhelming response from the community when they produced Cinderella, Annie and Aladdin at the Hermosa Beach Playhouse in 2007. Craig's favorite stage roles include Bill Sykes in Oliver!, Albert Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie (at The Colony Theatre in Burbank) and Oliver Warbucks in Annie at The Colony & The Hermosa Beach Playhouse. In addition to embarrassing his children by singing and dancing in public, Craig has played ice hockey for 41 consecutive years and now enjoys coaching ice hockey, basketball and baseball.
Suzanne Suzanne Greely Director Suzanne is the proud wife of Craig and mother of Clementine, Dashiell, Dalton & Granger. Her second favorite job is owner and producer of Family Theatre, Inc. After graduating with a degree in Radio-TV-Film from The University of Texas at Austin, Suzanne moved to Los Angeles and met Craig on her first day at NBC Studios. She then pursued a journalism career and became an award winning television news reporter/anchor and host for several years in three different states. Suzanne left the news business when she was pregnant with their first child. The Greelys returned to So. California and settled back down in their Hermosa Beach home. They have been active in the community ever since. Suzanne is from a big family and has worked with and helped children in several capacities since her teenage years. She has appeared in many theatre productions and loves putting a show together. Suzanne especially enjoyed playing the role of Grace Farrell in Annie, alongside Craig & their children in 2007. She loves to see the cast members have fun in rehearsals and on stage. Her theatre inspiration comes from her late father, Jack, who played many roles in Houston musical theatre for several years. Some of her favorite Broadway classics include The Sound of Music, South Pacific and The Boyfriend.
Farah Farah Kidwai Musical Director Farah recently moved to Los Angeles from Princeton, New Jersey, where she pursued a Masters in Voice Pedagogy and Performance from Westminster Choir College. As a member of the renowned Wesminster Symphonic Choir, she performed with the New York Philharmonic, the New Jersey Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony, and the Philadelphia Orchestra. She performs regularly throughout Los Angeles, most recently with the Los Angeles Master Chorale. In addition to her active voice and piano studio at Coast Music Conservatory in Hermosa Beach, Farah is a faculty member of the Pasadena Conservatory of Music. She also maintains a home studio in El Segundo. Farah has musically directed all of Family Theatre, Inc.'s shows, including, Music Man, High School Musical, Oliver!, Pirates of Penzance, Cinderella, High School Musical 2, Willy Wonka, Bye Bye Birdie, Sleeping Beauty, Annie, Wizard of Oz, Bugsy Malone, and Camp Rock.
Keisha Keisha Wright Choreographer Keisha Wright is no stranger to the stage. She has danced most of her life, and hopes to be performing for the rest of her days! She has performed in musicals such as Oliver and Damn Yankees, and also classics like Shakespeare's Macbeth. She received her BA in Theater & Dance from the University of Texas in Austin in 2007, and has also studied abroad at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts. She has danced in Florida, Texas, and England. Keisha has choreographed several shows for Family Theatre, Inc., including, High School Musical 1 & 2, Oliver, Pirates of Penzance, Cinderella, Willy Wonka, Bye Bye Birdie, Sleeping Beauty, Annie, Wizard of Oz, Bugsy Malone, Aladdin, and Camp Rock. She teaches acting and more for The Greelys' A6 Academy (after school enrichment programs in Hermosa Beach). Keisha also teaches dance and is a certified yogalates and pilates instructor in Beverly Hills.
